Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room Travel Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The travel RN will work 40 hours per week, in 8-hour day shifts, as a circulating or scrub nurse, with possible RN first assistant duties.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of acute care experience in perioperative roles and hold BLS/ACLS. Travel experience preferred. This position offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 2 years of nursing experience with perioperative exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education
• Coordinate communication between patients and operating team
• Monitor patient safety and correct procedures during operations
