Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. is seeking a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pre-Operative for Santa Fe, NM. This 13-week contract includes 6:30AM–3:30PM shifts, with 8-hour days and an on-site assignment supporting pre-operative care.

The RN must hold a New Mexico license or a compact state license, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. EPIC EMR experience is preferred, with a 2:1 patient ratio and weekend off-cycle flexibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current NM RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of competencies for nursing leadership and patient care (as per department standards)
• Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities by patient age and needs
• Re-assesses patients and adjusts care plan accordingly
• Develops and implements an individualized care plan within Nursing Standards of Care
• Makes nursing decisions based on data interpretation and outcome evaluations
• Participates in patient education and discharge planning
• Performs Point of Care testing procedures
