Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an OR travel assignment in Helena, Montana. Start date 11/01/2026 for a 13-week period, with four 10-hour days per week and call obligations. Weekly pay ranges from $2,210 to $2,280, with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

The role covers perioperative nursing across multiple specialties, including ortho, robotics, gynecology, and spine. Prior travel RN experience and OR background are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Montana or eligibility to obtain Montana licensure.
• 2+ years of OR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
• Epic EMR experience.
• Travel nursing experience; ability to work in a fast-paced OR with a variable call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for operating room cases across multiple specialties.
• Assist surgical teams by maintaining sterile technique and handling equipment and instruments.
• Monitor intraoperative vitals and administer medications within scope.
• Document intraoperative events in Epic and coordinate with surgeons and team.
• Prepare the OR and assist with positioning and postoperative care.
• Be available for Christmas Day coverage and adhere to scheduling constraints.
