MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. This travel assignment requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour days and a 13-week duration.

The ideal candidate has 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS certifications. This travel role includes weekly pay, housing options, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
