Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. This operating room nurse will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, with start date 10/12/2026. The role offers competitive pay, robust benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of OR RN experience, IL RN license, and BLS. ACLS/PALS or CNOR are preferred. Travel compensation and licensure reimbursement are part of the package.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in Illinois.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for procedures.
• Position patients and ensure safety during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control.
• Assist surgical team with instruments and supplies.
• Monitor patient during surgery and document changes.
• Complete perioperative documentation and handoffs.
