Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room on a 13-week assignment in Bellevue, NE. The role supports orthopedic, general, endoscopic procedures in a teaching hospital environment with 6 ORs and 15-20 cases per day. Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, and a requirement of 2 years experience, RN license, and BLS.

Candidates must be willing for holiday and weekend call (5-6 shifts per month). Local candidates are not accepted; must live more than 100 miles away.

Qualifications

• Experience in general surgery, endoscopic procedures, and orthopedics
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience
• Ability to precept and orient new staff and travelers

Responsibilities

• Comfortable with orthopedic cases
• Holiday and weekend call required (5-6 shifts per month)
• No overnight shifts; weekend shifts are call only
• Precept and orient new staff and travelers
• Self-scheduling managed by the OR lead; call is self-sign up
• Travelers are not paid the same as core staff; compensation policies differ
