Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a surgical services unit, with emphasis on Ophthalmology, joint replacement and urology procedures. You will operate in the operating room providing high-quality care as part of a dynamic team.

The role requires NC or Compact RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Epic EMR experience is preferred. Shifts are 4x10 hours (0645–1715), totaling 40 hours weekly with a 30-minute meal break and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Active RN license in NC or Compact.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Annual NIHSS certification required.
Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of a surgical services department
Caseload includes Ophthalmology surgeries, joint replacement, and urology procedures
Epic EMR experience preferred
4x10 hour shifts, 0645-1715, totaling 40 hrs/week
30 minute meal break included in shift
Call responsibilities required
Provide nursing care within the operating room setting
Deliver clinically competent nursing care consistent with a Clinical Nurse II level of practice
