Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN OR - Operating Room in Naples, FL for a 13-week assignment. This role requires 40 hours per week and 10-hour day shifts, with travel pay and benefits as part of a comprehensive package.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience as a circulating, scrub, or potentially RN first assistant, ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications, and is ready to start immediately in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 1–2 years acute care experience as circulator, scrub, or RN first assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record medications; report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families and OR team.
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education for home care and medications.
