Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Naples, Florida. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 40-hour work week, day shifts, and 8-hour blocks. You will operate in a fast-paced perioperative setting and collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe patient care.

The role requires one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS. Preferred certifications such as ACLS/PALS/CNOR may be considered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Assist in patient positioning and maintaining sterile technique.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control throughout procedures.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and support.
• Document care and participate in handoff communication between perioperative phases.
