Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in San Francisco, California. The OR RN will provide assessment, coordination and delivery of nursing care in a perioperative setting, coordinating care with the healthcare team.

The position requires California RN licensure, BLS, 2+ years telemetry and perioperative experience, and Epic charting proficiency. Night shifts, 12-hour rotations, 36 hours per week with travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Valid California RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
• At least 2 years of telemetry experience.
• Experience in perioperative or operating room settings.
• Proficient with Epic charting system.
• Experience in community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, coordination and delivery of OR nursing care.
• Direct patient care and patient education in the OR.
• Coordinate transitions of care within the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients and the healthcare team.
