Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Lone Tree, CO for a 13-week assignment. The RN will support perioperative care, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery with safety and comfort in mind.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team to maintain efficient workflow.
• Documents perioperative care accurately and thoroughly and collaborates with the team.
• Participates in handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases.
