Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is looking for a travel nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This role demands assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for surgical patients.

Candidates must have a degree from an accredited nursing program, an active RN License, and recent acute care surgery experience. Benefits include weekly pay, full coverage of credentialing fees, and comprehensive health insurance.

Qualifications

Requires eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
Must possess an Active RN License.
A degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
BLS and ACLS Certifications are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
Serve as a patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse.
Work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
