TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Miami, FL. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience, with responsibilities across circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant duties. 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, days, travel employment.

As an OR Travel Nurse you will support surgical teams, provide perioperative care, and educate patients and families. ACLS and BLS are required, with additional certifications potentially needed before

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• RN license in good standing with ability to travel to Miami, FL.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Exist with circulating or scrub roles; handle instruments and equipment.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and respond to complications.
• Educate patients and families on medications and home care.
