Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 14-week assignment in Lexington, KY. The RN will support perioperative care, prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, and maintain sterile technique while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

Requires 1 year OR RN experience, RN license, and BLS certification. ACLS/PALS/CNOR preferred. Travel pay and comprehensive benefits available for this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols throughout operations.
• Anticipates team needs and supplies instruments to support efficient workflow.
• Documents perioperative care details accurately and communicates handoffs as needed.
