Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Illinois. You will scrub and circulate across multiple surgical specialties and participate in a 4x10 hour day shift.

Candidates must have IL RN license, Level 1 Trauma experience, and be able to float within the health system up to 50 miles. RTO rules apply; local residency required for local rate eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Required experience in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, and Trauma surgical specialties
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
• Proof of COVID vaccination required (booster not required)
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer

Responsibilities

• Operating Room unit within a Level 1 Trauma hospital
• Day shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Must be willing to float to any facility within the health system, up to 50 miles from home facility
• May receive floating notification as little as 2 hours before a shift
• No designated home unit; may float outside primary area of competency with team-based support
• Local candidates accepted; must reside within 75 miles of the facility for local rate eligibility
• RTO limited to 5 days maximum with no more than 2 consecutive days off
• Weekend time off requests will not be approved
• No holiday RTO, and no RTO the day before or after a holiday
• Block scheduling and special scheduling requests are not permitted
• Logo-free profile required for consideration
