Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications and CNOR are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Positions patients for surgery and maintains sterility throughout cases.
• Monitors patient status and communicates with the surgical team.
• Assists with equipment handling, specimen labeling, and turnover between cases.
• Documents care and participates in handoffs for continuity of care.
