Fusion Medical Staffing - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA. You will join a dedicated clinical team to provide perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.

The role requires OR RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and prefers ACLS/PALS or ENPC. CNOR and other certs are a plus. Excellent teamwork and strict infection control practices are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred.
• OR Nursing CNOR certification preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room, ensuring instruments, equipment and sterile supplies are ready and functional.
• Assists in positioning patients and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Provides timely instruments, supplies and support to the surgical team.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and notifies the surgeon of changes.
• Handles and sterilizes surgical instruments and manages specimen transport.
• Documents patient care and ensures accurate perioperative records.
• Participates in patient handoff communication before and after opera tion.
