Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Montgomery, Alabama. This travel position offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

As part of the OR team, you will prepare the operating room, maintain sterile technique, assist with instruments, and collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• One year of Operating Room RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile supplies.
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, ensuring safety.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Support the surgical team with instruments and supplies to maintain workflow.
• Document all aspects of patient care in perioperative setting.
