Job summary

American Traveler has an immediate opening for an Operating Room RN (OR) in Bartow, Florida. RN travelers receive a competitive pay and benefits package with personalized client service and security from working with an established agency.

Responsibilities include assisting surgeons in the OR, monitoring vitals, coordinating perioperative care, and maintaining a sterile environment. Some on-call duties may be required on weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent OR experience in this specialty and setting.
• Valid nursing license as required by Florida state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification through AHA (may be required).
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred.
• Professional References.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and surgeons in the operating room and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
• Coordinate surgical care and liaise between the surgical team and patients' families.
• Assess patients before surgery and maintain a sterile operating room.
• On-call requirements may apply during weekends and holidays, especially at trauma centers.
