Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in the United States. The role requires at least 2 years of OR experience and ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Active Florida or compact RN licensure is required, with CNOR preferred. The assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00 and an on-call schedule including weekends and weekdays. Travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

• Must hold active FL or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of prior OR experience in a US hospital.
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS (AHA only).
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Two manager or supervisor references within last 12 months preferred, at least one from most recent employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrubbing and/or circulating duties in the OR for operative procedures.
• Thirteen-week assignment with 8-hour shifts from 0630 to 1500.
• On-call requirement: 7 shifts over six weeks, including 3 weekends and 4 weekdays.
• Work 40 hours per week.
• Admit patients to the operative suite and ensure aseptic techniques and standards are followed.
