Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Burlington, VT. The role offers a 16-week assignment with 40 hours per week, a standard eight-hour shift, and travel benefits.

You will be part of a dedicated team providing perioperative care, equipment management, and collaboration with surgeons to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. The position requires OR RN experience, valid licensure, and current BLS certification, with preferred certificates such as

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments, equipment and sterile supplies.
• Assists in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Anticipates team needs and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates changes to the surgeon.
