Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, GA. You will provide perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical setting, preparing the OR, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient safety.

This position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, ASAP start, travel benefits, and comprehensive medical, dental, and retirement plans through Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Active RN license in Georgia or applicable state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Set up the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Position patients for surgery and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Anticipate team needs and supply instruments promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and report changes.
• Document care in the perioperative setting.
• Assist in turnover and room restocking between cases.
