American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN - Operating Room in Salem, Virginia for a 13-week assignment starting 12/29/2025. The role requires at least one year of OR experience and an active VA or compact RN license, with a 10-hour day shift from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA or a compact state is required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting.
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Care for surgical patients in a fast-paced OR environment.
• Provide perioperative care to surgical patients as part of the OR team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.
• References and a detailed nursing profile may be requested during hiring.
