Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with active VA or Compact license for a 13-week day shift assignment. The role requires 2+ years of OR nursing experience and is based in a hospital setting with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule.

Preferred qualifications include ACLS and CNOR, Level II Trauma center experience, and Epic EMR proficiency. Some areas may require on-call; travel nurses may need to float per policy.

Qualifications

• Must have active VA or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Minimum 2 years OR nursing experience required.
• Level II Trauma center experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, robotics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff an Operating Room unit in a hospital setting.
• Work a day shift, Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
• No mandatory on-call; on-call may apply in some areas.
• Floating per facility policy and Joint Commission standards.
