Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel OR RN for an assignment in Lufkin, TX. This 13-week travel role requires 40 hours per week, days shift, and a focus on operating room care including circulating, scrub, and potentially RN first assistant duties.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience in circulating or scrub roles and hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Immediate start available; travel nurses supported with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required/preferred.
• Travel RN in Operating Room settings with 13-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education on medication and home care.
