Job summary

TotalMed RN in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Operating Room travel nurse (RN) to support surgical teams. The position emphasizes circulating/scrub roles with 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and the potential RN first assistant duties.

Immediate start date with ACLS/BLS required and 1 year acute care experience preferred. As an OR travel nurse, you’ll assist physicians, provide pre- and post-surgery care, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 1 year of acute care experience as circulator/scrub RN or RNFA
• Travel RN in OR role in Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patients, family, and operating team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care.
