Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, AK. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, days, and a competitive benefits package. Start ASAP with a required OR RN experience and an active RN license.

You will collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to provide safe, efficient perioperative care in a hospital setting, supported by Fusion’s recruiter and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and perioperative care.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control throughout procedures.
• Anticipate team needs and provide instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document deviations.
• Contribute to post-operative handoffs and room turnover.
