The RN will provide Pre-Op care in a Surgical Center setting, with 8- to 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, and a 13-week duration. This role requires BLS, strong IV skills, and prior Pre-Op/Surgical Center experience. Robotics knowledge is a plus; scrubbing in the OR is not performed.

Travel RN – Pre-Op Surgical Center | Key Requirements

• 50-mile local radius rule
• Copy of an unexpired driver's license is required with submission
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at submission
• BLS certification required
• Strong IV skills are required
• Pre-Op/Surgical Center experience required
• Robotics and surgical care knowledge preferred
• RN provides Pre-Op care only (no OR scrubbing)
• EMR: Sunrise (transitioning to Epic)
• Shift: Days, 8- or 10-hour shifts (6–2, 7–3, 8–4, or 9–5)
• Call: 1–2 second-call shifts per month, including one 24-hour weekend call (7 AM–7 AM)
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• Weekend: Rotating 8-hour weekend shifts plus weekend call
• Floating: OR holding area
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Unit Highlights

• 15 operating suites
• 55–70 surgical cases per day
• Handles both same-day and overnight surgical patients
• Orientation provided in the Surgical Center/Pre-Op unit
