ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Statesboro, Georgia. This 13-week travel assignment features 4x10hr or 5x8hr shifts, with call.

The OR RN will support Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and OR staff, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies while coordinating supplies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Experience in Robotics, Ortho, General, and OBGYN procedures is required.
• Must have C-section experience and an active RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely availability of supplies and equipment for surgical cases.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care and procedures.
• Update physician preference cards and maintain accurate records.
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as required.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a key member of the surgical team, the RN works collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel to provide comprehensive patient care during surgical procedures, adhering to relevant regulatory standards and hospital policies.
