Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role supports perioperative care, collaborates with the surgical team, and aims to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic OR setting.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR, with licensure reimbursement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience required.
• Valid RN license per state regulations required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Assist in patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety per protocol.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control standards throughout surgery.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and supply instruments and materials promptly.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document changes for the surgeon.
