Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week contract in Texas. Active TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent OR experience are required. The position is a day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a housing allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the Operating Room.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Surgery department.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
