Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state required.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the full nursing process for surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers; assess learning needs.
