Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for Tucker, GA. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour days. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurses, and potentially RN first assistant.

Responsibilities include assisting in the operating room and providing pre/postoperative care and education. Travel nurses should be prepared to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with the surgical team to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Act as liaison between patient families and operating team.
