Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Aberdeen, SD. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, days, and the opportunity to work in a facility in Aberdeen.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS or ENPC, CNOR, and other licenses may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team and supports efficient workflow.
• Documents perioperative patient care and participates in handoffs to ensure continuity.
