Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for assignments in Alpine, Texas. This role requires current TX or multistate RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least 2 years of RN and travel experience.

Position details include 13 weeks, 40 hours/week, and 8-hour day shifts with on-call duties 1–2 weeks per month. Benefits and support are provided by ARMStaffing to support the travel nurse in the OR.

Qualifications

• Current TX or multistate RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with prior travel experience.
• Must be able to work all aspects of the OR: Pre-Op, Circulating, and Post-Op.
• Availability for on-call duty 1-2 weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Maintain timely case management and communication with families.
• Update physician preference cards and assist during surgical cases.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room.
