Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Corpus Christi, TX. The RN will prepare the operating room, assist in patient positioning, and maintain sterility while supporting the surgical team and documenting care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience
• Valid RN license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments & sterile supplies for each procedure
• Assists in positioning patients and ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols
• Supports the surgical team with instruments, supplies and turnover
• Documents patient care and participates in handoff communications
