Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Chadron, Nebraska. The role focuses on perioperative patient care, room preparation, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of OR RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. ACLS/PALS/CNOR are preferred; licensure reimbursement and industry perks are offered with travel accommodations.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in patient positioning and anesthesia readiness.
• Maintains sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Supports surgical team with instruments and supplies to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitors patient status during surgery and communicates changes.
• Documents perioperative care accurately.
• Participates in handoffs pre- and post-operatively.
• Cleans and restocks the OR between cases.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies and safety rules.
