MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This role requires 18 months of acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week, featuring 10-hour daytime shifts in the operating room. You’ll join a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency known for comprehensive support and nationwide placements.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery.
• The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
