Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse as needed.
• Circulating OR nurses work outside the sterile field; scrub nurses handle instruments within the sterile field.
