Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Abilene, Texas. You will join a dedicated operations team and provide high-quality perioperative care while enjoying travel pay and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Prepares the operating room with sterile instruments and supplies
- Assists in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field
- Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates with the surgeon
- Documents patient care and assists with handoffs pre- and post-operation
- Keeps OR clean, restocks equipment, and follows infection control procedures
- Adheres to facility policies and safety protocols
