Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Abilene, TX. This travel role requires 1 year of OR experience, a current TX RN license, and BLS certification. You will work 36 hours per week on day shifts.

You’ll prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, monitor the patient, and support the surgical team through the perioperative process. Benefits include competitive pay, insurance, and a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license compliant with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC CNOR certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile supplies are ready.
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and document changes.
• Collaborate with the surgical team and assist with turnover between cases.
