Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an OR Travel Nurse in Hendersonville, NC to support operating room teams on a 13-week travel assignment. The role includes 10-hour days, 40 hours weekly, and includes duties for circulating, scrubbing, and potential RN-first assistant tasks.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS and 1 year of acute care OR experience. The position offers travel benefits through TotalMed RN with competitive stipends.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• 1 year of OR experience preferred as circulating/scrub nurse.
• RN First Assistant experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Prepare instruments and supplies; monitor patient during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families as a liaison.
