Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 12-week travel assignment in Woodward, Oklahoma. As part of our team you will provide comprehensive perioperative care, ensuring safety and comfort for patients undergoing surgery.

The OR RN will prepare the operating room, manage surgical instruments, and collaborate with the surgical team to uphold infection control, patient safety, and high-quality care in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• One year of OR RN experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments and sterile supplies are ready.
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery with safety and comfort.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Assist with instrument handling, specimen labeling, and turnover between cases.
• Document perioperative care and participate in patient handoff communications.
