Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week travel assignment in Sylva, North Carolina. The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience, NC RN licensure, and BLS certification, with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license for NC.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with required instruments and supplies.
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Anticipate needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies promptly.
• Document patient care in the perioperative setting accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases.
