Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Perioperative Registered Nurse for a PACU/OR role in Hermiston, Oregon. This 13-week assignment features a 36-hour week with 12-hour day shifts in a hospital PACU/OR setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years perioperative nursing experience, an active Oregon RN license, and is prepared for on-call duties and patient advocacy throughout the perioperative journey.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license.
• At least 3 years perioperative nursing experience.
• Day shift competency and PACU/OR exposure.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia Phase I/II.
• Intraoperative monitoring of local anesthesia cases.
• Provide sedation for select procedures.
• Regular on-call rotation in PACU.
• Advocate for patients throughout the perioperative journey.
• Supervise and direct assigned PACU staff.
• Support hospital policies, procedures, and values.
• Local candidates accepted; no radius restriction.
