TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for a travel assignment in Cedar Park, Texas. This role supports surgical teams as a circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience in the operating room and relevant certifications. This is a travel position offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse
• RN first assistant experience considered a plus
• BLS certification likely required before start

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating room team.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
