Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, partnering with Lifepoint Health, is seeking skilled travel nurses for assignments in Wilson, NC. This community hospital offers 8, 10, or 13 week contracts to fit facility needs.

Responsibilities include plan of care, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education. Requirements: 1+ year acute care, active RN license in state, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care, documenting care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
