Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room travel assignment in Sonora, California. The 13-week contract starts 11/23/2026 with guaranteed hours and evenings 12-hour shifts (3x12). Eligible RNs must hold CA licensure and have OR experience.

You'll work in a hospital operating room, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support teams, and receive dedicated travel support, credentialing help, and housing options where available.

Qualifications

Active CA RN license or eligible to practice in CA.
Ability to work evening 12-hour shifts (3x12).
Experience with operating room procedures and intraoperative patient care.
Capability to supervise OR staff and coordinate with surgeons and team.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care in the operating room according to standards and nursing process.
Supervise and direct nursing staff and coordinate care with surgical team and anesthesia providers.
Maintain sterile technique and assist with intraoperative patient care and instrument handling.
Monitor patient status intraoperatively and document care accurately.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize OR flow and patient outcomes.
