Responsibilities

• Provides safe, evidence-based care in preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.
• Acts as circulating nurse to coordinate patient care and maintain sterile environment.
• Assists as scrub nurse by preparing instruments, passing items, and counting sponges/sharps.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team to optimize outcomes.
• Assists with inventory, quality improvement, regulatory compliance and staff orientation.
