Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the Operating Room for a travel assignment in Philadelphia, PA. The 8-week engagement starts 10/26/2026 and offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm in the hospital OR.

The role requires OR/perioperative experience including circulating and scrub tasks, strong teamwork and communication, and flexibility to support multiple service lines such as Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, and Neuro.

Qualifications

• OR/perioperative experience as circulator
• Willingness to travel for an 8-week assignment
• Strong communication and teamwork under pressure

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse and scrub role as needed within the OR and across multiple service lines
• Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, and OR safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists during procedures
• Adapt to cases across service lines such as Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, and Neuro as needed
• Document intraoperative events accurately and facilitate clear post-operative handoffs
• Work within a model that encompasses both circulating and scrub responsibilities, with flexibility to support unit needs
